Is this suitable for a thorn nomad mk1

Hi , I have a thorn nomad mk 1 and wish to switch out the front wheel for a dynamo hub. The existing wheel is a Ryde 19c x559 Andra 30 32h with a 26x2.0 tyre. would this be a suitable replacement thanks

Hi,
The internal rim diameter is 19mm, so I would use 18mm tape - SJS Cycles part number : 35235
This rim has been designed to be used with a Presta valves, they aren't available separately with Schrader drilling as such but they can be drilled out to a larger size to accommodate the Schrader valves.

Can Be Installed Disc Brakes?

Unfortunately not, this is a non disc hub designed for bikes with rim brakes. We don't have a disc version of this wheel pre-built but we're able do a custom wheel build for you if you wish.

Can This Be Built With A Quick Release Axle!

Hi,
This wheel built as it is can be used with a quick release skewer. The skewer supplied is the same dimensions as a quick release it just uses an allen key head on it for better security of your hub.

Can This Be Ordered And Built With A Silver Son28 Hub?

Hi,
This is a pre-built wheel we have in stock so it only comes supplied with the black hub. We are able to do a custom wheel build for your with one of these rims and a silver hub instead. To do tis just add the silver hub, one of these rims and our wheel build option (5027) to your basket (making sure the spoke numbers match up). You'll then be able to order it and it will arrive as a full built wheel.
