Shimano Chain Identification
In order to know what spare parts are available and compatible with your Shimano chain you will need the Shimano "CN code".
This denotes the model and series of your chain.
If you need our help finding parts and spares we will ask you for the Shimano code of your component.

CN code (Highlighted in Blue)
If you are unsure or are having difficulty seeing the identification code, count the number of sprockets on your cassette or freewheel to find the 'speed' of chain you need. 10 spockets means 10 speed. You can then search for a replacement chain, either Shimano or a compatible 3rd party alternative.
