This outer chainring can only be used with Shimano Deore LX FC-T671 10 speed triple chainsets with a 44-32-24T set up.
If the correct outer chainring is unavailable you can also use the chainring from the following chainset:
- Shimano Deore XT FC-T781-44T
This is a "B" match which indicates that the parts are usable, but differ in materials, appearance, finish & size etc.

Can I use this with a slx groupset - I think the slx version is FC-m660 but can't see a B fit.

So long as your chainset is the Shimano Deore LX FC-T671 or Shimano Deore XT FC-T781 this will fit.
