ConsDoubts about bearing quality
ProsGreat value budget set that fitted well
Budget end headset and the bearing quality is what you would expect...functional. The cups and crown race fitted well so appears to be accurately made. For a standard hybrid bike this is a good replacement for a worn set but will it survive high mileage?

Frame Head Tube Diameter

Can you tell me what diameter head tube are the frame cups designed to fit into please?
(This is not the crown race diameter but the outside diameter of the part of the cups that fit into the bicycle frame)
Hi,

This headset is designed to accept 1 1/8 forks and should fit any frame that takes a standard headset and 1 1/8" forks. The outer diameter of the headset where it sits into the frame is 33mm.
