For use with Shimano Tiagra FH-4500 rear hubs.

This Complete Freehub Body can also be used on the following rear hubs:

- Shimano 105 FH-5700
- Shimano Tiagra FH-4600

These are an "A" match which indicates that the parts are the same in materials, appearance, finish & size etc.

If the correct Complete Freehub Body is unavailable you can also use the freehub body from the following rear hub:

- Shimano FH-M495-A

This is a "B" match which indicates that the parts are usable, but differ in materials, appearance, finish & size etc.

Annoyingly I had ordered the wrong one and inadvertently damaged the bearing seal so couldn't return it.

This series of components have not been made since 2005, sadly spares or compatible parts are no longer available. SK 06/11/23

Is this suitable for a 9 speed cassette,and if affirmative,what thickness is the supplied spacer?

This freehub will accept a 9 speed cassette, it will only fit the hubs listed in the description.

Hi, Is this compatible with a Shimano 105 FH5600 hub (10 speed cassette)? Part no. that I think I need is Y-3CJ 98070 - not quite the same.

Unfortunately not it is not compatible, it appears the free hub and it's alternative from the FH-6600 is also not available. SK 28/02/23

Hi, my road bike Shimano 10 spd hub has FH-RS400 marked on it. The free hub has failed, will this fit as a direct replacement, thanks

No, this will not work on the WH-RS100 rear-wheel- ONLY SJS part: 37216 will suit your rear wheel.

Hi, this will not fit. You need 32U 9801 which are no longer available. As far as we know there are no substitutes.

Can I fit an 8 sp cassette on this free hub?

This freehub will indeed take a 10spd cassette, the fixing bolt is not included though unfortunately. We stock these separately though and they are SJSC part number 23519.

Hi,

Unfortunately the correct replacement freehub body for your hub has long been discontinued, this newer version fits in a similar way but as we have never tested it we can't say for sure if it will work or not I'm afraid.
