Worth getting the SQR mount

I recommend this product
ConsThe weight is a big higher up
ProsGreat option for bikes without rack mounts
I got the bag and tried to just attach it to my saddle. I'm 5 ft 4 and it would hit my rear tyre and it was right up against my legs.

I've now got it on an SQR seatpost mount and it's brilliant. Really easy to take on and off, right out of the way of my legs and rear wheel. It's big enough to take my 13" laptop and a change of clothes. Very pleased!

What would be the minimum gap needed between saddle loops and mudguard / wheel?
By

Approx 20 Cm, maybe a little more- depends on the angle the bag hangs.

Can I use it as handlebar bag as well?
By
05 Dec 2020
I saw some reviews/photos with the Barley saddle bag used as handlebar bag, so I use thinking whether it would be possible to do the same with Carradry. My handlebars are 44mm wide and 31,8. I have strong, stainless steel mudguards front and back. Looking forward to hearing from you!
This could be used as a handlebar bag, however, it's rather large for that and as such its designed more for use on the rear.

Can I check the dimensions of this bag ?
By
17 May 2020
The description says 30cm (W) x 16cm (H) x 26-30cm (D). But looking at the photos it appears to be taller (from top to base) than depth (front to back). Should it actually be 30cm (W) x 26-30cm (H) x 16cm (D) ?
Hi, we have used Carradice's way of describing the bag, The width left to right is 30cm, front to back is 16cm and it is 26-30cm tall depending on how tight you have the closure straps. Thanks
Will this bag be able to fit a 15.6 inch laptop?
By

Hi

Thank you for your enquiry. Unfortunately based on the dimensions & design of the bag we do not think that a 15.6 inch laptop would fit.

Kind Regards
would this bag work with the carradice classic rack?

I will use a brooks saddle
Hi there,

Yes this should work fine.

Thanks
Does this bag come with the SQR system? If not, is it compatible?
By
30 Sep 2017
I can't see how the SQR attachment would fix to the bag in the photographs but I like the size of this bag much more than the larger carradry that shows it with the SQR system attached.
Hello,

This does not come with the SQR system but it is compatible.

Thanks.
Will this fit on a Genesis High Latitude 17.5"
By
30 Aug 2017
Hi - I wondered about fitting this on the High Latitude LT using the SQR bag support. I can't see how to measure clearances as the bag would hand diagonally? Any idea how I could check whether this will fit my bike please? Much appreciated.
Hi,

With the SQR uplift system in place you should be fine to fit this bag to your bike, if you want to check for 100% then you will need to measure. The bag has a depth of up to 30cm, so if you work off of this dimension and the fact that the uplift system will move the bag to around 10cm from the underside of the saddle. So if you have at least 40cm directly from the underside of your saddle to your tyre you should have enough room.

Thanks.

Does this bag (15 litres) fit on a brooks B17 Standard if using the bagman support suggested for it ?
Hi,

This bag would indeed fit onto a Brooks B17, you could use the Bagman support as well providing you have enough space on your saddle rails.

Thanks.
Will This Support Also Work "Bagman Quick Release Support Expedition"

I will use it with Brooks B17 saddle
Hi,

The "Expedition" version is the larger of the two so this bag will still fit on it, it just won't sit as neatly as it would with the "sport" model.

Thanks.
