Ok, so you have BB30 frame or a PF30 frame, but you need to run a Shimano crank?

No worries. Praxis Works Conversion BB is just what you're looking for. Made to fit in either BB30 or PF30 frame, the conversion BB is designed to be rock solid for a Shimano* Hollowtech II cranks to be installed in your frame.

*Designed for Shimano 24mm Hollowtech II cranks. Some Race Face and FSA 24mm spindle cranks also work

Praxis Works' patent pending aluminium shell design keeps the bearings outboard of the frame for greater rigidity and free of frame / cir-clip tolerance issues that other systems deal with. Simply press in the longer Non Drive Cup, then thread in the shorter drive cup. As the Drive Cup threads in, Praxis Works' trademark Collet Cuts spread out to evenly disperse pressure for a super tight fit. With both cups connected and using the collet cuts, there is no chance the bearings can come out of alignment or wiggle / walk out of the frame. This design also uses a compressible o-ring on the non-drive side cup to compensate for bottom bracket width discrepancies.

The Praxis Works design greatly reduces the chances for creaking and other unwanted noises associated with the lesser "Band Aid" type adaptors in the market. The cartridge bearings are high quality stainless steel with shield type quad-ring seals. Available in either 68 mm or 73 mm shell widths, the Converter can take care of your Road or MTB needs.

Note: 68 mm for road crank only. It cannot be spaced for use with MTB crank like a traditional threaded BB

Would this fit on Boardman Road bike?
By
17 Sep 2020
I wonder if this would be possible to fit on my 2011 Boardman Team Road bike with FSA Comet crankset? My current BB30 bearings are shot. Thanks and I am looking forward to hearing from you.
If you bike is BB30 then yes, and you will need to use 24mm (Shimano) cranks.

Thanks - 18/09/20
Please inform as to the tool/wrench-size needed to tighten these cups- Thank You.

Can I fit to 2016 alloy cannondale synapse?
By
22 May 2018
Hi there,

There is some compatibility issues with some Cannondales, due to the internal cable routing. The best bet is to visit a Cannondale dealer, we simply do not know as we have little experience of modern Cannondales.

Thanks
S-Works Venge compatibility
By
07 Mar 2018
Hello, please can you confirm that this is the correct part to fit a Specialised S-Works Venge frame and allow the use of Ultegra cranks. Unfortunately, I don't know the exact age of the frame, but it has the alloy bottom bracket sleeve bonded into the frame with c clips that locate the bearings.
Thanks for you help.
Matt
Hi there,

The best option is to head to a Specialized dealer / concept store with the frame as they will be able to give you the most direct assistance with this.

Thanks

Is It the current version with Enduro 2437 bearing with orange outer seal or the older with 6805 bearing with black plastic end/spindle reducer cap?
Hi,

Although our photo's are a bit outdated the stock we have are the most up-to date version with the Enduro 2437 bearings and the orange outer seal.

Thanks.

When the bearings became worn, do I need to replace the unit or just the bearings?
Hi,

These use universal bearings so it is possible to just replace the bearings and not the entire unit.

Thanks.
Can I Fit A Praxis Bb To A Caad12 Frame?
By
04 May 2016
I believe this is 73mm BB30 and can I then use a standard Shimano crank such as a Ultegra 6800?.
Hi,

If your frame is definitely BB30 then this Praxis Works BB will fit. To use a Shimano road crank like the Ultegra 6800 you'll need to select the 68mm option.

Thanks.

Hi ,

i m Theodor from ParisFrance (sorry for my bad english) , i placing a order to you right now , but i think maybe we have a little problem , because me i need a version of the Praxis Works adapter to Shimano model : BB30 (68x42)

not the PF30 (46x30)

i see the Praxis Works adapters models in he's special website , and i know the adapter PF30 model , he's have a compatibility to the BB30 (68x42) , but here in your site store , we cannot see this , when you add the product in your basket , so , if your adapter here , he's not good for me , please cancelled my order !

theodor.
Hi,

The new PF30 ones can be used as BB30 ones also just by removing the outer shell. So you will be fine.

Thanks.
