ProsSturdy, reliable
Fantastically reliable, very stable, super easy to fit and adjust, but heavy duty also means it's heavy.

Good quality stand fits well on dawes discovery 501 2005 model have to toe in a bit to clear stand wearing size 11 spd shoes otherwise will heel clip on inside very slightly but has not been a problem on 60 mile rides weight might be an issue for some but stand has strength and adjustability
Simple And Strong

I recommend this product
Simple to fit with one 4mm Allen Key and one 8mm ring spanner.

Once fitted it is rock solid on my Dawes.

The leg is easy to adjust for length by simply rotating the foot. The Foot seams wide enough to cope with fairly soft ground.

I wont site the price as a negative because the stand has already lasted twice as long as one of the 'funky' ones with my bike loaded with the camping kit etc.

I know on the Sherpa you’re not supposed to use stands but would this fit on a Sherpa while using a tubus stand on the front
We have never fitted one, it looks pretty likely to be suitable.
