A ball joint means the mirror is very easy to fit with plenty of adjustment for perfect alignment. It has a diameter of 80 mm and the design is unique and very functional offering a very large field of vision. For internal handlebar mounting (17.2 - 22mm).

ProsEasy to fit. Easy to adjust. Good view.
Easy to fit to the bar end and gives a clear steady view. Easy to adjust if it gets knocked. Just the right amount of convex to give a reasonable field of view without distorting distance.

Easy to fit to my, Ergon 5, grips. Could be mounted on either side. Good field of vision with good range of adjustment and no vibration.

Great mirror that was easy to install with Ergon grips.

Mirror is as seen on picture, but there's no "Fold in memory" function on this item as the text describes on this web site. This should be edited.
The search for a good mirror stops here...

ProsHigh quality, good optics, sturdy,
I have tried a number of mirrors and there have always been slight issues with them, they performed well but just never quite perfect. Prior to this I had a B&M mirror of the ball jointed variety and found over time the ball joint wouldn't hold the mirror anymore and also it would move out of place when riding over rough cobbles (part of my daily commute). This has been fantastic so far. It stays in place well, the mirror itself is great with no distortion and provides a wide view behind. This is not surprising as I believe B&M also manufacture mirrors for many of the top motorcycle manufacturers.

It is worth noting that the mirror CAN be comfortably fitted to both Left or Right sides of bike handlebars - despite the product description.

Can this be fitted to the bar end of drop handlebars and give a good range of adjustments?

It is intended to be used with flat bar bikes and as such will not give a great angle of view. SK 19/04/24
