The new upgraded rear-view mirror from Busch & Muller with a larger lens for enhanced vision. The CYCLE STAR 80 is the "big brother" of the CYCLE STAR. With a mirror diameter of 80 mm the mirror glass provides more than 75% bigger field of vision. The glass has a special shatter protection and is extremely adjustable and it is also foldable.

Especially sturdy when using the internal handlebar mounting made of aluminium (17,2 - 22mm). As this mirror is missing the extension bar it is only recommended for use on an adequately curved handlebar (like drop handlebars).

Good when vehicles are in close proximity, Good when traffic is further out of range provided traffic has its sidelights on, Good, being easy to fit.
Average when distant traffic do not have lights on.
Does it assist rider in being more aware of their surroundings - well yes it does so, in short its useful.
Nice design, almost perfect!

Nicely made, fitted easily on drops and does its job. Good image in the mirror but I would prefer a slightly larger field of view, despite its 80mm size. The Sprintech which is altogether smaller, has a wider field which enables me to track an overtaking car more easily

ConsNOT shatterproof, ball mechanism could be tighter
ProsEasy fit, works well for rear vision
I felt so much safer cycling having a view of what was aproaching from behind. Generally well made and easy to fit.
Unfortunately I had my bike propped up against front door and it fell over. The mirror hit the uPVC door panel (softest bit of the door) and shattered :-(

I've been looking for a mirror for a while and this meets my needs perfectly. It's easy to fit, compact and with a good view to the rear.

Yes, it will, but will likely impact the ability to fold the bike away.

I have tried and but it does appear to be too tight.
We cannot confirm this as we do not stock these particular handlebars to test.

We don't have your bike here so we cannot guarantee if this will fit. Please measure the internal diameter of your handlebars and if this is within 17,2 - 22mm then this should fit.
