This is made of metal and fixes really firmly to the handle bars. I am using it for a phone holder and its possible to raise it so I can see the satnav easier. Its ideal.

Will a Gilles Berthoud Twister for Rohloff Hubs fit on to this bar?

Yes, 22.2mm diameter is the normal size for the grip area - this is a lightweight mount for lights / computers - it may move under shifting.

Does this work well for a Rohloff shifter?

I'd like to use this in lieu of my Hub Bub adapter. Will it give me enough space between it and the handlebar? Is is sturdy enough for the shifter?

Hi,

We have never tried to use this particular accessory bar with a Rohloff shifter but in theory it should be possible as the dimensions are suitable. It should be sturdy enough for shifting use as well but we have never tested this so can't say for sure I'm afraid.

How Wide Is The Actual Accessory Bar?

You have provided details on diameter of the accessory bar, the width of the mount, along with the size of handlebar this will accommodate.

What you don't say is how wide the additional bar space this will provide is? It looks like I could easily fit two separate front torches on it, however I am hesitant to purchase until I know the width of it and how many accessories I can actually fit on.
