Goo, But Not Needed For The Hebie Bipod

I purchased this counter plate because the Hebie web site lists it as recommended for the Bipod (0605) stand. It turns out to be redundant if you're buying a new stand: the exact same parts are included.

For the bike I'm using this on, it would be good if the plate were a little wider: It fits well if I mount the stand right up behind the bottom bracket. I would rather have put it a little further back, but this plate (and the stand itself) aren't wide enough for that

ConsSmall allen head, plated, not stainless bolt.
ProsNeat and functional
As expected this has a metric thread, and therefore will fit various european designed models. N.B. some stands made in the far east, (eg. Bonranger) have the US market in mind and have a similar, but not quite identical imperial thread. One can chase it out with a suitable tap, it's that close, but not recommended.
Top plate is nice and wide, so it will span wider frame sizes.
Shame the allen headed bolt takes such a small key size, rather too easy to slip and chew it up. Stainless would have been nice too.

Width of the top plate?

I've found that the Retrofit Standplate is 65mm long, but I have not found anywhere listing the dimensions of this counter plate. Could you please measure the length of this counter-plate?
At the widest part the top plate is 70mm wide and 30mm deep SK 19/05/23

Hi, a couple of years ago I bought a Hebie centre stand alloy adjustable 636 HCS1 from you, intending to fit it to a Kona Dr. Fine frame. I also had to buy the optional 69940 stand plate as the frame needed it. When I came to fit them, I found the bolt supplied with the stand was too short to hold the stand securely, making it unsafe, and I had to remove it (about which I was very unhappy!). I see you now sell this Hebie centre stand and counter plate kit as a separate item, so can I ask please - how long is the included bolt? I'm thinking maybe it might be an answer... Thanks.
I,ve just measured - 55 mm, this the length of the bolt (art. 20296)
