I bought this lock after losing the keys for my previous cable lock. It is hard to find a lock as compact as this, and it slips easily into a jersey pocket. It's never going to be as secure as a U-lock, but it will deter casual thieves.

This is an exact replacement of a 20 year old Safeman lock that just wore out - So I'm not complaining.

The best cafe lock I have owned. Read the instructions and always take the key with you. What I really like is the ability to do a double loop and pull tight against the bike frame so stopping cutters getting in. The cable is stainless steel and very good by comparative standards. Easy to fit and remove.

Good light-duty lock once you are used to it but can be used without a key, leaving no option but to cut it off.

Bought primarily for locking skis whilst at lunch, but will also be great for securing motorcycle helmet.

Occasionally use for temporary cycle lock (popping into a shop etc) but wouldn't use for a long term locking.

Convenient small lock primarily purchased for locking skis whilst on the slopes. I suspect a decent pair of wire cutters could snip the cable, but hopefully the Safeman would act as a deterrent for the opportunity thief.
It is not for intuitive how the lock works, but once you have the hang of it no problems.

I first bought one of these a few years ago for my wife who uses it to secure her crash helmet to her motorbike when we are out. It was a friend of my son's 21st Birthday and as he'd just taken up motorcycling we got him one and he is absolutely thrilled wit hit.

The lock is easy to use, takes up little storage space in either the bike or your pocket and can secure up to 3 crash helmets to the bike. Its also good for securing luggage to the bike or threading around luggae to make it that little bit harder to get into.

All in all a very good product.
