A new generation of electric folding bike
The Brompton Electric G Line combines the legendary Brompton fold with the ride feel & capability of a full-size bike. Built on an all-new platform with larger 20-inch wheels, updated geometry & wider tyres, it delivers improved stability, comfort & confidence across city streets, cycle paths & mixed terrain.
At the heart of the bike is Brompton’s e-motiq electric system, a fully integrated drive unit designed specifically for Brompton folding bikes. The system uses a 250W rear hub motor paired with a torque sensor to provide smooth, responsive pedal assistance that feels natural & intuitive.
Power is supplied by a 345Wh removable battery, delivering a range of up to 90km (around 50 miles) depending on terrain, rider input & assistance level. The battery can be removed quickly for convenient charging at home or work.
Designed for confident riding in all conditions, the Electric G Line features hydraulic disc brakes, offering powerful & consistent stopping performance. Wide Schwalbe G-One tyres enhance grip & comfort on rough roads, gravel paths & urban surfaces.
Despite its larger wheels & enhanced capability, the Electric G Line retains Brompton’s iconic folding mechanism, allowing the bike to fold into a compact, portable package in under 20 seconds—perfect for trains, car boots & storage in smaller spaces.
With Brompton’s front carrier block for luggage, integrated lighting & smart connectivity through the Brompton app, the Electric G Line is designed to handle everything from daily commuting to longer weekend adventures.
