ProsFlexibility for all size of bottles and tool carrier.
Am using it for a tool carrier and it works a treat on my thorn raven bicycle. Just so much more flexible than other carriers which is the reason I use it

ProsVery solid.
Had these specced on my Thorn Sterling originally when SJS built it up. When I need two bottle cages to fit my new Surly forks these sturdy, almost indestructible cages were my first choice. Very good value.

ProsGreat holders of bottles & price
I can only confirm what other reviewers have written!. These cages are very good value and hold bottles really firmly particularly in MTB/Off Road situations and yet bottles are easily removed and replaced. I have 6 in use

I can only echo what other reviewers have written!. These cages are very good value and hold bottles really firmly and yet bottles are easily removed and replaced. I have replaced my previous alloy cages with these having experienced first hand the bottle spoiling properties of alloy cages coupled with the fact that bottles occasionally fell out!.

ConsNil for the price
ProsPrice. Quality, quite robust and light
Decent no nonsense cage. Does exactly what it should at a decent price. Had mine well over a year with no problems.

Have just bought some more for my other bike why pay silly prices when this does the job perfectly

ProsPrice, form, function
Tough and simple design. Takes many bottle sizes. Firm hold of bottles on rough roads and terrain. Best to tie on bottle with an old inner tube on REALLY rough roads!

Secure yet flexible grip makes for easy removal and replacement of bottles. It's been worked hard, taken some knocks without suffering any damage or loss in functionality. I've had one for two years now and putting new ones on my other bike.
Very Good Piece Of Kit.

ProsFunction,durability,design,material
I have these on all my bikes and have not EVER had one drop a bottle or break.
It is also very easy to get bottles in and out whilst on the move as the opening is sloped to allow this unlike most "lightweight" cages.
Bottles suffer very little chafing or wear as they are held securely and do not vibrate or rotate.

I used one of these to hold a 1 litre Sigg
bottle _under_ my downtube. This was during a trip to the Himalayas riding on some really rough tracks. The bottle didn't move at all. Highly recommended.

Do these work well with SS water bottles?
By
03 May 2019
Your typical stainless steel water bottle doesn't have the same profile as a plastic bottle. Does the tab at the top have enough give to hold something like a klean kanteen, assuming standard diameter of 73mm?
HI, we don't have a Klean Kanteen bottle to try can't be sure if it will be secure. It does grip most plastic bottles well. Thanks 08/05/2019

Does the kage stretch to accommodate a 1 or 1.5 litre Nalgene bottle?
Hi,

As we don't stock those particular bottles I cannot get one to double check unfortunately. If you check the diameter of the bottle as the Kage will stretch to 80mm in diameter.

Thanks.
