Can I replace the English cups on both sides by French cups? And are the spindles symmetric or asymmetric for 122 and 127.5 sizes?

Yes, I'm pretty sure they are asymmetric RT

Is the right hand cup really fixed?

In answering David Moorhouse on 27 Feb 2019, it was said that the right hand cup is fixed to the bottom bracket. But you sell (as SJS part 41029FRE) replacement cups for non-British threaded BB shells, which come as a pair. How is the right hand replacement cup installed if the original British cup is fixed?

It definitely cannot be removed by hand! We have not currently got the answer to the second part of your enquiry, but we will find out and let you know / update this.

Are both cups free or is the right side one bonded to the cartridge ?

Hi

Thank you for your enquiry. The left hand cup is loose whilst the right hand cup is fixed to the bottom bracket.
