My bike is 15 plus years old. I Have removed a worn RS 500 BB (BC 1.37x24 Road). Assuming this is the right replacement, is this an English or Italian thread? Thanks for your help

I have a 2018 Giant Anyroad 01 XL, my BB is starting to creak!, according to Giant website it is a Shimano BB RS 500?, will this be correct from your website and is Italian or English thread correct?.

Park tool, ice tools etc all have so many different bottom bracket tools
To install or remove any Shimano hollow tec 2 tool will work, such as product 23832
