The lightweight Dura 2 road holder is a lightweight forged aluminium holder with dual pivot adjustment that houses the Dual Compound Dura 2 type inserts. The holder will fit most Shimano type brake systems.

The special dual compound is a great all-weather option incorporating the Black compound for normal conditions and the Salmon compound for wet and muddy conditions.

ConsVery expensive

Unsure yet if worth the expense but they certainly look the part. Braking performance appears to be such a difficult thing to measure given all the variables. I have already bought some cheaper Fibrax inserts as the next set as I think on balance the Kool Stops are far too expensive at £10 per set!
But they do appear to brake well. Are they better than the rather cheap Shimano originals which seemed to wear out alarmingly quickly? No doubt I'll convince myself having spent the money.
