Replacement pad for all V type systems, it slips into the pad holder quickly and easily. With durable Kool Stop formulas and multiple water displacement grooves and patented Kool Stop plow tip.
L ength 70mm. Brake surface length 68mm.
Salmon compound for wet and muddy conditions.

I have these on my touring bike on Shimano cantilevers. They stop well in wet and dry, don't mark the rim, don't squeal and don't wear the rim like other harder compound blocks. 5/5

ConsNone so far. Pins are fiddly to install, as with all these pads

ProsGood performance in wet

I have used Koolstop pads for years, manly the Dual Compound . . . they last very well for long distane touring. But I was keen to improve wet weather braking, pad life not an issue for my relatively low mileages. Very pleased - good bite from brake application, braking in heavy rain much improved. And the persistent squeal has gone!!
