ProsGreat stopping power

I bought these to replace some campagnolo blocks that were worn out. The stopping power is phenomenal. It’s too early to comment on longevity, but for brakes I would prefer stopping ability over all else. Work well in the wet. A simple and cheap upgrade that has really improved the feel of the bike for my commute across London.

Will these replace the Avid Shorty Ultimate blocks?

No, the replacement pads for the Avid Ultimate shorty are SJS part: 39560

Are they compatible with the Shimano BR-CX50? I am looking for an improvement over the Shimano pads.

SJS Customer Service:

Shimano state that SJS codes: 30131 / 30130 / 30132 are suitable for use with the CX50 brakes. While these pads look like they will fit , we have never fitted them ourselves so cannot confirm if they will fit securely.

Fitment for DC980

Hi, would you know if these will fit the dia compe dc980 brakes? They sell a similar pad called the 980EX-pad but I can?t find them in the Uk. Basically I want a cartridge pad for these brakes so I can leave my adjustments as much as possible and switch out blocks. Cheers.
