Details

Full length post makes adjustments possible for all cantilever systems. The extended pad length and off centre post design provides even wear for longer life.

A water groove is located below the mounting post for optimal water dispersion. The angled plow tip is featured for raing and mud removal. This also provides correct toe in during installation.

Salmon compound for wet and muddy conditions.

Length: 64mm. Brake surface length 62mm.

Meaty blocks that stop well

First time I've used these blocks and the first thing I like is how hefty they are. Looks like they'll last well. No squeal so far and good stopping power on the muddy, wet autumn rides

ProsKind to aluminium rims

I've not used any other brake blocks since finding these. They are very kind to my Mavic aluminium rims unlike the original shimano pads I had installed.

Suitable For Low-Profile Cantilever?

Can these Kool-Stop Salmon brake shoes be fitted to the cantilever brakes on my touring bicycle? The brakes are Tektro Oryx.
Can you please advise?

Hi,

The Tektro Oryx brakes use V-brake style pads so these fixed stud pads won't work I'm afraid. We do V-brake style pads in the salmon compound as well.
