Details

KoolStop replacement brake pads for Shimano Deore LX cantilever brake systems. These pads can replace Shimano model M65/T. Pads are sold in sets of four pads. Brake pad holders not included.

The special Salmon compound is ideal for wet and muddy conditions.

- Weight: ca. 17g/pair
- Length: 63mm. Brake surface length 62mm.

Better than Cantilever Brake Shoes Shimano M65T (x4) these pink shimano BR-M565 brake shoes were fitted to the original Shimano aluminium M65T cartridges no problems with braking, stops on a dime!

Are the compatible with stx rc cantis?

These look identical to some removed from stx rc cantis pad holders. However the braking surface of the pad I have removed is around 62mm. Are these pads compatible?The bit that slots into the pad holder on the inserts i have removed is around 52mm, as per the stated length of this product. I wondered if there had been some mix up here... Thanks.

The total length of the pad is 63.5mm, from the front of the part that inserts into the holder to the centre of the securing slot is 52mm SK 20/01/23

This should work, we cannot confirm for 100% but the Shimano shoe pattern is mostly the same so i would be surprised if they didn't work.

I’ve a late 1990’s Dawes Galaxy Twin (tandem) equipped with swore lx cantilever brakes - M550 I think. Will these pads fit?
