This Brake Shoe Set can only be used with Shimano BR-CX50 cantilever brakes. This is supplied with the Medium spacer which is 14mm.
If the correct Brake Shoe Set is unavailable you can also use the brake shoes from the following cantilever brakes:
- Shimano BR-CX70
This is a "B" match which indicates that the parts are usable, but differ in materials, appearance, finish & size etc.
Genuine Shimano replacement part.

Hello, thinking of buying a set of these. Can I use brake blocks other than Shimano CX50s- Can I use cartridge ones, like the CX 70s, and so use Aztec or Swiss Stop blocks
