I recommend this product

The levers look good for the price compared to similar products. While they felt responsive once installed I struggled with the ergonomics.

I’ll leave someone more knowledgable to confirm this but I feel like the lever isn’t compact compared to others.

This means that unless your hands are fully on the lever it’s not easy to get leverage. This has 2 consequences:

1 cycling on the hoods it will be difficult to brake in more relaxed positions.

2. If you want to be able to reach the levers in the drops you can’t really get away with angling them upwards on most bars.

Hood color ?

Which color are the hoods ? White or black ?
I am asking as your photo shows white hoods, but your listing says item color is black/silver.

Caliper compatability

Are these compatible with older style single pivot caliper brakes, or newer style dual pivot caliper brakes, as I understand the MA/cable pull is different? Thanks

As we understand it there is no effective difference in the cable pull requirements between single and dual pivot road callipers. RT 08/08/22

Cable pulling through

My brake cable housing is pulling through the hole within the fitting when brake lever is pulled. What would you recommend to prevent this? Is there a particular ferrule that would suit this? Struggling to find any info.
