ProsLooks, adequate performance
Can be a bit faffy to set up but if you want the look there's nothing be quite like them. The performance is fine where I have them on my town bike. While I would not necessarily recommend for high stress applications they have proven themselves effective stoppers paired up with some modern double pivot sidepull calipers.

A previous review complained that the body of the product is plastic, however they do ship with metal ferrules that are essential to getting proper performance. I have had no issues with stripping out damage during use, using these for more than a year.

These levers twist too easily in the bars despite being done up as tight as is sensible, and being made of cheap looking plastic the outer cable just sinks in to the plastic the harder you pull the lever. This means a very mushy brake feel and poor performance compared to a metal lever mounted on the bars.

My ID of my handlebars are only 16mm can these fit my bicycle ?
Thank you for your enquiry, sorry no they will not fit, they are suitable for 18mm to 20mm

The description implies it will fit, but it's vague. Dia0Compe website says the same thing and it's not helpful. Can you confirm that with the sleeve removed it will fit into a 18.6mm ID bar ? Please !!!! I have a new set of bars from Rivendell and my Tektro RX4.1 won't fit.
Without the shim, these should fit a 16mm internal.

he exterior is not really so important, these are 18mm with sleeve for 20mm handlebar internal diameter.

Hello, Are these levers short-pull or long-pull? I am looking for a pair of bar-end levers to fit 22.2 mm handlebars, for use with Sturmey Archer drum brakes, which I think need short-pull levers, right? Thank you.
