My old shifter hood covers were looking, and feeling shabby. Searched online,and SJS were the best route to go down. After a bit of a struggle to fit them, they look and feel brilliant!

Exactly as described and fit perfectly to 105 shifters. Easy to fit using either plumbers silicon lubricant or hand sanitizer gel - see youtube. Usual excellent service from SJS

These fit Shimano 105 5800 shifters. They were a bit of a struggle to fit, a little water helped, but once on they fit very nicely.

These are designed for the Shimano ST-6800 STI levers- But ST-6800 is a mechanical-only STI lever.

I have Ultegra levers - but not sure if I should buy 6800 or 8000 replacement hoods - how can I be sure which is correct?
You need to peel back the hood to reveal the ST code- this code will correspond to a specific lever model and allows us to link you to the correct hood unit.

Will they work with the shimano slr 105 levers on my 1989 giant peloton superlight. Bike has, full 105 group set?

These hoods are only suitable for 6800 series STI levers, you will need to check the ST- number of your ones.
