- Suits any Shimano pattern Centre-Lock rotor mount hub and converts it to 6-bolt compatibility
- Lighter than the 6 bolts used to mount to a 6-bolt hub!
- Allows a faster installation and removal of the Disc rotor
- Swap Centre-Lock rotors between different hub types with ease
- Whilst not essential, we advise that you use an aluminium tool such as the Park BBT-69 to prevent unsightly marking to the ring's splines on installation
- Max rotor size 160mm.

Can the DT SWISS lock ring be used on its own without the adapter to secure a centre lock rotor?

I have DT SWISS hubs with oversized end caps on the front so unable to get an internally splined cassette tool in on the standard Shimano lock ring. The lock ring on this adapter would mean a standard BB tool could secure it as it is externally splined.

purpose of the silver spacer

I have used the #HWZXXX00s2335s 2 piece version before what is the point of the silver spacer in this set

The serrated spacer is there to provide a secure connection, it seems to work as a washer in bolt/nut connection.

I am using an IS 6 bolts hub wheelset with 6 bolts disc rotor of course.

I would like to convert the 6 bolts hub to use centre knock disc rotor. Is this a correct item I should buy ??

This will convert a centre lock hub to a 6 bolt rotor, there is nothing available to convert a 6 bolt hub to a centre lock rotor.
