On this bike the front brakes are mounted behind the front fork, should I order a rear brake for the front?

Front/Rear Difference

Hi SJS. What's the technical difference between the front and rear, please? Is it only the pad direction, which I could alter myself? Thank you.

Are the pads cartridge type?

I'm looking to use these on carbon rims so would need carbon specific pads that are compatible. Is this possible?
