The Hope GR4 Caliper Complete is a premium-grade, four-piston hydraulic brake caliper engineered for riders who demand maximum stopping power, control & durability on the steepest trails, downhill runs & gravity-oriented mountain bikes. Built around a CNC-machined one-piece aluminium body, the GR4 caliper delivers a stiffer, stronger & more responsive braking platform than previous generations, making it ideal for aggressive enduro, downhill & e-MTB applications.

Designed to pair with Hope’s EVO & Tech 4 lever systems, this complete caliper unit can be used as either a front or rear brake & is perfect for upgrades or replacement after damage. Its architecture incorporates larger hybrid stainless/ceramic pistons for enhanced heat management & an increased brake ratio (around 6% more power versus the older Tech 4 V4 system), giving riders confident modulation & decisive stopping performance in the harshest conditions.

Hope’s GR4 caliper is manufactured in the UK with a focus on long-term serviceability & compatibility with existing braking components (except vented rotors, which this model does not support).
