What is the correct disk size using included IS bracket?
By
28 Jun 2023
With IS mounts will these calipers require 140mm disk rotors?

My bike currently has Clarks M2 disk hyraulics with 160mm rotors.

Thanks
Without adaptors direct to the frame the calliper will take a 140mm rotor, 160mm with an adaptor. SK 29/06/23

Shifter compatability

Sorry to bother you - is there any way you could confirm that this caliper would work with an ST-4720-L shifter?

I'm building a bike with IS mount on the rear. I've purchased a tiagra 4700 disc groupset which includes BR4770-R brake calipers. I plan to use this product instead on the rear with IS to PM adapter.

Thank you!

Hi, sorry we can not confirm this caliper will work with Tiagra 4700 levers. Shimano normally list cross compatible parts, this combination is not listed. Thanks
do the calipers come pre bleed with hose attached.?
By

These are calipers only, no fluid or hose included.

Thanks - 12/11/19
Does the calliper come with pads, and also the bleed kit?

Hi there,

This calliper does come with pads however it does not come with the bleed kit.

Thanks.
Post mount adaptor?
By
26 Oct 2017
Says - "Front or rear wheel use for International Standard or Post mount with adapters (not included)"

Does this mean I need an adaptor for (front) post mount?
Hi,

This brake has a post mount fitting as standard so it will depend on the size of disc rotor you are using and what size rotor your forks are initially designed for to whether or not you need to fit an adaptor.

Thanks.
