PLEASE NOTE: These brakes feature some minor cosmetic defects from storage / transport, hence the price.

- Mechanical disc brake
- For front or rear use
- Actuated by linear pull brake levers
- Includes 160mm 6-bolt rotor
- IS mounts
- Black

The supplied adaptor is only suitable for 160mm rear or 180mm front, if you wish to run a 160mm front you will also need SJS Cycles part number : 35451

ConsOnly outboard pad moves

ProsSimple, reliable

I've used these for 6 years on a daily commuting bike, to replace a set of considerably more expensive brakes that were difficult to adjust. Braking performance is adequate rather than outstanding, but on the daily grind in all weathers it's their reliability that counts. Uses widely available Shimano M525 pads, which is a bonus

which brake pads are used with this caliper, please

SJS Customer Service:

The pads are the same as Shimano's B01S pads, part number 50493 will work. SK 29/09/23
