For use with Brompton bicycles - will require custom cabling.

The cable anchorage provides stable gear shifting.

Recommended to install with 3 or 4 speed upgrades.

CNC'd out of 7075 aluminium.

I like this arrangement much simpler than the std set up and the inner cable is completely enclosed

SJS Customer Service:

Yes, you will need to use this with a custom anchorage set up though, this does not have a grub screw like the current Brompton one.

Do you also sell the custom cables needed for S type brompton?

SJS Customer Service:

We do not sell a direct item, we often use a longer Brompton cable and cut to size.

For S type, use an M / H type cable and trim down.

Does this work with gear cable QGSCAB2DR-S?

Hi
I just bought this together with other parts in order to repair my S type derailleur that suffered a breakage. I must say I'm really satisfied by how quickly the order arrived.
While installing though, it I noticed that cable part # QGSCAB2DR-S seems to be too short to pass through. Does this require a longer cable to work properly?

These are designed for custom cut cables, so the OE cables will not be long enough.

Is this for the over (pre-2017) or underbar shifter setup?

SJS Customer Service:

Technically this would work with either as it is for a modified system.
To use this, you need to run a gear cable straight through and not stop it at the anchorage.
