20 406 SJSC for Brompton G Line Front Wheel with SON delux Disc Dynohub - Black - 24 Hole

Front dynohub wheel equipped with SON delux 12 x 100 mm thru axle hub for Centrelock disc brakes built on to a 20 inch rim for use on Brompton G Line bikes. A handbuilt wheel by SJSC's master wheelbuilders, laced together with Jtek black spokes and brass nipples.

SON 28 vs SON delux:
Users that prefer a more leisurely pace to cycling may prefer the SON 28 hub as this offers higher power output at lower speeds, giving a lot of electricity for lights or powering charging devices even when cycling slowly. With a SON delux hub, whilst you'll notice less light at speeds lower than 20km/h versus the output of a SON 28, the SON delux is around 50 grams lighter than the SON 28, and can still provide more than enough light of around 60 lux at 15km/h. At higher speeds, you won't notice the difference in lighting output between the two hubs.

So in short, if you'd prefer more voltage at lower speeds, the SON 28 is the best choice. However, if you're happy with obtaining the same voltage at a higher average speed but prefer a lighter weight wheel, the SON delux will suit your needs.
