Brompton front brake cableset including inner and outer cables.

Suitable for H type handlebars with aluminium or 30deg plastic brake levers (with closed clevis).

For bicycles where front brake is right hand lever.

Weight: 80g.

ConsTop 1” too long for 2017 handlebars/levers/shifters

ProsEasy to fit

I upgraded my Brompton to have the new 2017 combined brake lever/gear shifters.
I decided to fit all new cables at the same time. This was easy to fit althought I suspect the old cable would have still worked. However I also fitted new handlebars to get enough space for my wide hands. I found the upper length of the cable outer needed an inch cutting off. Using the supplied cable with the new combined levers/shifters and new handlebars left the cable fouling the chain tensioner when folded/unfolded.
