Frame mounted barrel adjusters can be placed anywhere there is a housing stop. Allows cable tension to be easily fine tuned.

Will this fit an older frame's chainstay cable stop?

Old reynolds 531 road/touring frames and similar have a cable stop at the bottom of the chainstay that needs a stepped ferrule of some kind, about the fit of a spoke nipple. Should this fit that cable stop?
