I bought these long cables for my 25" Dawes tourer because the website stated that larger Thorn tourers (above 530) need them - but found I had over a meter of each cable left over, despite being generous, so I've wasted cables and a few £s.
The cables thmeselves are fine, have improved shifting, and aren't difficult to fit if you can follow the Rolhoff manual (The best set of instructions for any product I can think of!).

The cables fit the Rohloff gears perfectly and have returned the shifting to 'as new'. They were very difficult to fit but that reflects the complexity of the Rohloff system. Tip: use any spare inner cable to practice fitting the gear box before the real attempt!
