Quality longer rack stay that enable me to fit my Tortec rack to a smaller more sloping frame, Same diameter as original shorter stays.

ProsBlack, match my carrier, very neat

I have used these long stays to improve the Topeak Explorer 29er rear rack on my Surly Ogre. In conjunction with the Tubus stayholder mounts, they make for a neater apperance than the original flat Topeak stays and do not cut into the seat stay paintwork as the originals did. I shortened each one by 90mm and fitted the Tubus end caps. These roundstay caps are listed by Tubus but are not imported by the UK importer. SJS got some for me.

Carradice Bagman Stabiliser Struts

I'm considering these stays to replace the silver ones that come with 'Carradice Bagman Stabiliser Struts,' so that they match my other tubus racks. Vain, I know, but will they work and what length would you recommend? Thank you in advance.

Hi, the diameter is close enough so they will work. The Bagman struts are 310mm, you will need 350mm and cut them down. Thanks 10/04/2020

Can the Tubus long ( Roundstay) Rack Stays be bent or are they hollow?

Want to make support bracket for a seat pack to prevent side to side sway.
