Here is what Tubus say about their Disco Rear Rack:
The Disco rear carrier is perfect for bikes with disk brakes. The vertical tubes of the carrier surround the disk brake unit from the rear. This keeps the carrier narrow at its bottom end, for maximum stiffness. The Disco comes with a skewer for hub mounting. But it can also be mounted, if existing, at the carrier-mounting eyelets of your frame.

Will this fit a Thorn Raven MTB if the spacer/s are used to allow the NDS leg to clear the Rohloff's click-box and brake parts?

Tubus Disco rear rack for 26" - SJS #17364SIL

I'm considering purchasing this rack. There is a drawing that shows the rack requires a tire width of max 60mm and mudguard width of max 55mm. I'm trying to understand this limitation. Why is the mudguard limit smaller than the tire? Is this a typo?
My tire width is 54mm and I have mudguards that are 60mm wide which are proper for this size tire. The mudguards are 25mm above the tire. Will this rack fit?

The combination you have should work fine, some brands sizing comes up slightly differently and a line must be drawn for guidance.
