Tubus' travel master Logo has been updated for 2012. 3D-feet with perfect force absortion and integrated screw attachement.

New superlight mounting parts for mounting the stays to the frame and klick spring clamp.

The new Logo also has the typical lower rail, lowering the center of gravity and improving the riding stability.

ConsFor some, uses torx bolts, not hex
ProsStrong, sturdy, guarantee

This is probably *the* touring rear rack.
My only issue, and it's mine, may not be for others, is that it uses Torx bolts, not hex, which means my tried & tested multi-tool needs an upgrade. Other than that, all good.

We haven't tested it on that frame so we cannot say for sure! Dimensions are provided so it's best to check you have clearance.

It has Schwalbe Marathon Plus Tour tyres (26x2.00)
Will the Tubus Tara fit the same bike?

M6 bolts

Hi,
I see in a previous answer to a question posted here you have claimed that this rack is designed to be fitted with M6 bolts. However, Tubus' website says it's M5. Could you please recheck and confirm what bolt size best fits this rack please?

Hi,

This rack can be fitted with ether M5 or M6 bolts. Tubus supply it with M5 bolts but it can be fitted with M6 bolts if your frame required it.
