Disappointingly plastic.

ConsCheap plastic parts let it down.

ProsNone really

For the price and considering the job they are intended for it's disappointing that the end and the lever are constructed out of flimsy looking plastic. I couldn't recommend this skewer, I'm planning to modify this item to make something more robust.

I am very happy with this extra XXL long QR skewer! I used it to mount an Old Man Mountain front rack on the fork of a fat bike! Works excellent!

The hub (silver part) measurement

Hi, Does the length of the front hub width of this skewer is 230mm? (I would like the measurement of the sliver part without the black caps)

Sadly the QR part is not removable so from the QR cam to the end is approx 240mm is with the end cap rmoved.

Hi if you don't have the Blackburn EX-1 disc pannier rack will you be getting it again and about how much would one cost if you are getting it again? Did you previously sell this rack?

From what I can see we never sold the rack, just this spare part. We won't be getting this rack in future as Blackburn do not import it to the UK.

Outpost each compatible?

Hi there, is this compatible with the Outpost front rack? I have a Sonder Camino without lower fork mounts, 100mm spacing I think. Would this skewer be long enough or too long? Thank you!

This will be far too wide, 227mm!

Just received from you. Skewer is now too long and protrudes by several centimetres. Can I remove the surplus or should I return the item to you and order a smaller one

I have an issue with a lowrider disc front rack and a long suspension tube, so I put some spacers but now I need a long QR skewer.
