This is the front stay on a Brompton rack, this includes nuts and bolts, you may need to drill out the rivet holding your original stay on.
This stay is the shorter one out of the two options used to fit the Brompton rack.

Thanks for your response of 10th August. I see what you mean, yes, there are four stays and SJS Parts Number 13982, Brompton Part Number QRCSTFP meets the rear rack further forward from the ones which are described as rear stays as well as more towards the middle. As both of mine have broken I didn't notice that there is somewhere for them to fit!

What does it mean when it says that this is the front stay on the Rack? My Rack only appears to have one set of stays, which go to the rear end of the rack, so I would describe them as rear stays. The other end of the rack just bolts onto the same bit of the frame as the brakes. Is this the part that goes to the rear end of the rack? (If so, I will be ordering a couple.) Thanks.

Hi, this is for the Brompton rear rack but out of the two that form the stays this is the one that fits to the inner part of the rack & frame on the bike. Regards
