Superlight rear rack to improve stability when folded or rolling.
Roughly 70% lighter than the stock rack!
Suitable for use on Brompton Bikes. Can be used in place of Brompton Rear Carrier (Brompton Part # 9039012 / QRCA).
There are two versions of the rack, either the standard (285mm) or the shorter (255mm) version. This is the longer version & is designed to be used with a mudguard. Both versions are 120mm in width.
Weight - 152g
You will also need to purchase some Easy Wheels for this rack.
Please note: this will not fit the New P Line bikes

ConsExpensive, no instructions, no M5 guard mount bolt, mudguard sits slightly high of the rack

Bought this longer rack version for my Brommie M6L. No instructions but the TI Parts You Tube vid helps. It doesn't, however, cover attaching to the mudguard.
Very expensive and not ultimately the most functional rack (but hey, you don't buy this for function!) but extremely desirable, looks pretty, and is very well engineered. Tricky working out how to mount to the frame bolt such that it can be aligned and screwed to the guard and annoyingly no M5 screw supplied to do it!
Guard sits slightly high of the rack in the middle limiting function.
Overall, a superb piece of kit. If you have deep pockets, not too worried about function and want something cool for your brommie, this is for you!

What is the maximun load capacity of this rear rack?

This rack does not have listed load capacity, it is designed to improve the rolling capability of the bike. If you wanted to add some weight to a rear rack like this, we recommend - SJS Cycles part number : 49693 - Carrying Limit - 16 kg
