Retrofittable carrier connection.

The Thru Axle Adapter from Tubus makes it possible to convert frames of bicycles that do not have a carrier mount. For this purpose, the existing thru axle can be replaced by the adapter (a thread of 1.5mm must be available).

ConsWill be a bit of a pain when replacing inner tubes.

ProsLooks strong and easy to fit

Had to use it as one of the pannier lugs was kapput on one of our gravel bikes. Once you ensured you have the right TPI count (threads per inch), it was easy to fit.
