which HG chain is recommend and how many links needed being a a 51t with a long cage deore m5100 derailleur?
SJS Customer Service:
Any Shimano 11 speed chain will work, you cannot work out links because chainstay length is the biggest variable in this equation. I suggest you refer to ParkTool's rather helpful videos on youtube regarding chain length.

Will this fit on a 10 speed freehub?

I have heard all Shimano 11 speed MTB cassettes also fit on 10 speed freehubs. Does this also apply to this one? Thanks.

This will fit Shimano MTB Hyperglide freehub body only- we cannot comment as to compatibility with SRAM.
