ConsNo chain catcher, but if properly adjusted excellent.
ProsStrong, light, lots of options.
Stronglight says it all the chainrings made by this French company are strong and light. Better still, they come in array of sizes, which suits riders like me who seldom use a 53T chainring. Now, with 50T there is a better range of gears to suit a higher cadence riding style.
First Class Service. Great Product

Delivery was very prompt and the product was well wrapped. As an engineer I am quite critical about quality and this seems very well made and does the job well. I would certainly return for other bike parts.
Value replacement if you take care shifting.

I bought the 52 ring to replace my Shimano 53 original. The ring fitted the crank perfectly and runs straight and true. However there was no peg to go behind the pedal arm and there are non of the Shimano rivets to lift the chain onto the ring. But as long as you change up with a smooth action on the shifter I havent had a problem.

Hi, would this be compatible with a Shimano 105 5700 crankset? Thanks.

MAYBE as Shimano FC-5700 uses 130BCD outer rings. While we have not tested this to confirm for certain, we would be surprised if this did not fit.

Is there a difference between Outer and Inner rings? Cheers.

Is this chainring compatible with the shimano tiagra fc-4503 triple ring chainset
By
17 Apr 2020
Hi, yes it will fit. But gear shifting is unlikely to be as smooth compared with a genuine Shimano ring. Shimano rings have more complex ramps to assist the chain moving between rings. Thanks 20/04/2020

Hi there,

No this chain ring does not have ramps up or down so should be fine to use as a single ring.

Thanks

There is nothing stopping you using this ring with a 7spd groupset.
