Echo other reviews the 50t factory fit chainring means you are overgeared in hilly parts of the UK .
44T works well.

ProsCheap and easy to fit
I bought this 44 chainring for my P line. This is a cheap alternative to the H&H 40 and well worth the money. I have no idea why Brompton don’t offer this as a choice because this is necessary in the Uk for hillier rides!!!

ProsEasy to fit. Makes hills far more manageable
Since moving to Devon (and getting older) the hills have been getting progressively harder. Changing to a 44 tooth chainring from a 50 has made them far more manageable
