Will this 40t chainring be suitable to lower the gears on a 6 speed Brompton C Line Explore (2024)?

Thank you for your enquiry, yes it will be fine, however you will need to remove 4 links if dropping from a 50t chainring

Hello, thank you for your enquiry.
it can be done but we do not advise it as it will leave a gap, it is intended for minimum 44T.
