TA Vento 135mm BCD 5 Arm Campagnolo Inner Chainring - Silver - 39T

A recent chain and cassette renewal left me with a nasty graunching noise from drivetrain
when pedalling under load. LBS advised that I probably needed a new 39T small ring. As
this was for a 2000, 9speed Record I didn’t consider the price of a Campagnolo genuine part
to be sensible. I therefore began a search for a replacement. TA seemed the way to go as
they visually appeared to be the closest to OEM. I landed on SJS as the price was very good
but my expectations of how they would look were somewhat low. I need not have worried.
The TA rings are really well finished, the logos actually have a more modern appearance,
IMHO. The drivetrain now operates as new with quiet, swift changes. I have been a
Campagnolo advocate for over 50 years and moving to a TA component was a change not
taken likely. Glad I did. SJS provided a great delivery service both on notifications, speed
and follow up. I also purchased a 52T outer ring to accompany this renewal of chainrings.
