Gusset 1/2 Links
"Pair" of links with one cranked to run outside to inside.
Allows for the chain to shortened by a half link (instead of a whole link)
Very handy for custom Single Speed set-ups that require specific length chains
1/8"
Nickel plated.
(Not for use on Derailleur gear systems.)

ConsGood chain tool needed

ProsIdeal for fine chain length adjustments

These are very handy when lengthening a chain to position the rear axle further back in forward facing dropouts, and where a whole link is too much.
They aren't too difficult to install, but I would recommend a good quality chain tool (I would anyway) with an adjustable pressure support opposite the pin end. If not used, then the half link tends to buckle or distort.
