Does the job but not confident about strength

ProsOk for fine tuning chain length
Used one with a SRAM 850 chain on a single speed setup. Ok for fine tuning chain length but always had problem with this link stiffening up. When I replaced the chain with a new KMC 8 speed chain and new half link, the link split apart during installation.

Compatible with KMC X1 Rohloff chain?

Can I use this half link on the KMC X1 chain on my Rohloff bike? It's just that on the KMC website, the compatible half link for the X1 is called "Half Link 1-Pitch type Narrow Silver" (prod. nr. HLZ1NS01). And I can't find any info about the half link you are selling here on their website. But just like their recommended one, the half link you're selling is for 1/2" x 3/32" chains, so I'm assuming there shoudn't be any problems in fitting it on the X1 chain? (I also saw the Jtek half link you're selling, which you mention is X1 compatible.)

There is no reason why you could not use the link 24827 on the X1 chain.
